The Christmas Project: Day 1

So I told myself that before the year ends, I will do some kind of photography project. I decided to do a Christmas themed photo set for 30 days, since Christmas is coming in 25 days. Hence, I shall post my failed attempt at Christmas lights bokeh, I don't have any fancy dslr as of now. So I make use of what I have instead, which is my lovely and awesome Kodak C180 digital camera. It is shiny and already has scratches here and there, 'cause of my recklessness. Anyway, enjoy!

Is this even called a bokeh shot? I am still new to this so I need help! Look, Marnett! My so-called bokeh shot! :)

Failed attempt #2

I only have 2 decent photos to share, well tomorrow I'll try to post at least 5 photos.

I wasn't able to update last week due to work related reasons, haha, can you believe that?! I have a part-time job already! I find it pretty awesome and over-whelming at the same time, since I am still 16 years old, although my job isn't that stressful and it is home-based. I am cool with that.

I'm listening to Gorillaz right now, It has been ages since I last listened to these guys. My sister and I love their music.

Beside my Christmas Themed Project, I also joined the disposable camera project created by the lovely Mary Robinson :) So I guess I'm going to be busy, which is good!

I'm still reading this book, The Terracotta Palace by Anne Maybury. I'm liking the story actually, suspense with a hint of romance (subtle and one-sided only), I am itching to find out what the heck happened to Vanessa, she's the best friends of the protagonist Juliet. The setting of the story is in Rome, which peaks my interest for travelling the world. I can't wait to finish the book, the copy that I'm reading is very old, the pages all worn-out and fading.

You could see that the cover is not there, I don't know where it is D:

I had a sort-of healthy dinner, we had tofu and spring rolls. I am drinking tea right now.

  1. It is a bokey shot!! except if you have a dslr, then it looks clearer. Don't worry, we'll get a dslr.

You know, I still have to post some halloween pics. I'm so late.

  3. I think the background is suppose to be blurry. The lights stand out, though, so it looks nice. :D Ohgosh, I'll upload some pics. I have to!!!
